Baking from the book - Cookies Roundup

Thanks to all those participated. I myself couldn't make what I had planned for. I did not receive too many entries which is forcing me into a dilemma - "Should I keep having this or not". People probably aren't fond of referring to books when it comes to baking.
Roundup is posted in the order I received the entry.

Niloufer Riyaz of 'Kitchen Samraj!' sends 'Choco Mint Pinwheels'. She used the book 'Irresistible Biscuits Cookies & Shortbreads' which was her uncle's gift to her. Thank you Niloufer.
Jyoti of 'The Veggie Hut' made these 'Chocolate Cookies'. She borrowed the book 'Home Baking' from a friend and altered the drop cookie recipe into making these delicious cookies. Thanks Jyoti.

Jyoti of 'The Veggie Hut' sends her next entry which is from a book 'Beautiful Baking' by Jane Asher. She made 'Ginger Nuts' which are more like 'Ginger snaps'. Great thing about this recipe is it uses part whole wheat flour and has no egg in it. Thanks again Jyoti.

Umm Mymoonah of 'Taste of Pearl City' sends in 'White Chocolate and Hazelnut Cookies'. She adapted a recipe in 'Australian Women's Magazine' to come up with these beautiful cookies which her kids loved. Thanks Umm Mymoonah.

Jyoti of 'The Veggie Hut' sends one more entry. She made these 'Easy Lime Biscuits' using the book 'Anjum's new Indian' a book by Anjum Anand. These beautiful cookies not only taste great but are also very easy to make. Thanks once again Jyoti.
Vanessa of 'Sweet Artichoke' made 'Orange Cookies'. She shares my enthusiasm in baking from the book. Thank you Vanessa for that and the entry. She has baked these beautiful cookies from Emma Patmore’s book “Gourmandises à l’anglaise”. She says that she has baked many recipes from this book and this book is a keeper.

Jyoti of 'The Veggie Hut' sends yet another entry. She  made 'Double Chocolate Chip Cookies' from the book 'Home Baking'. These cookies not only look awesome but are eggless too.

I made two cookies for this event. One is from the book 'The Delights of Vegetarian Cooking' by Tarla Dalal. I made 'Kesar Nankhatai'.
I made 'Molasses Oat Bran Cookies' from the Pillsbury's 'Cookies Galore'.

Suma of 'Veggie Platter' sends in 'Cardamon Cookies'. These cookies were made using the book 'Cookshelf Baking' by Emma Patmore. She says these cookies taste like butter cookies and these are eggless too. Thanks Suma.

If I have left anyone's, I apologize. Let me know so that I can fix it.
A special thanks to Jyoti of 'The Veggie Hut' for sending me four entries.

Happy Baking!!
