When I received the message from Vaishali of Adding Zest to your cooking saying she has an award for me, I was surprised. This is the first time someone has thought what I write is worth something. Thank you Vaishali. As per the award rules, I now have to tell you 10 honest things about myself and pass on the award to 10 other fellow food bloggers who are honest in their approach to blogging. ( I copied this sentence from Vaishali's post)
Ten Honest things about me:
- I am a very tough critic. If I say something or someone is good, that means they are extremely good. I don't get impressed very easily.
- I speak my mind. I don't think about how it might be received. It's always the truth and I get in trouble because of this.
- I cannot stand liars.
- I don't like whiners. I believe in if you really want to do something, you'll have energy to do it.
- I am a clean freak to a good extent. To me, 'Cleanliness is Godliness' not next to Godliness.
- I am a very talkative person. I can talk to anyone if I want to.
- I am obsessive about the way things are. They need to be in their place. 'A Place for everything and everything has a place' is my favorite line.
- I am very possessive about my things.
- I cannot resist sweets.
- I can crack open a coconut without any problems, but I am very bad at breaking an egg. I don't like to touch an egg. (Go figure with all the cakes I have made)
- Vaishali of 'Holy Cow' - She was the one who persuaded me to start blogging and how beautiful her writing is.
- Madhuram of Egglesscooking.com - She is such an inspiration to so many people.
- Lakshmi of 'Taste of Mysore' - What a wonderful blog she has and we have common native place.
- Supriya of 'Red Chillies' - What an organized and beautiful blog she has.
- EC of 'Simple Indian Food' - How beautifully she introduces other bloggers.
- Srivalli of 'Spice your Life' - What a superwoman she is.
- Sunita of 'Sunita's World' - A worth visiting blog for innovative food and beautiful photography.
- Padma of 'Padma's recipes' - An awesome blog and an equally awesome person.
- DK of 'Chef In You' - Beautiful steps and I am amazed at the patience level of DK.
- A2Z Vegetarian Cuisine - What a wealth of information you have.

ReplyDeleteHi Champa,
ReplyDeleteBelated congratulations on your award.
For sometime now I have been a 'secret admirer' of your blog. I have bookmarked your site and read it almost everyday. I get very inspired to cook when I read your blog, needless to say I have tried many of your recipes and impressed my husband and son.
So, you go girl and continue blogging!
Shalini,
ReplyDeleteYou just made my day. I almost always have a doubt that I am just writing that no one is reading. If you have tried my recipes and you liked them, that means so much to me. Thank you.
