I love Swiss Chard. The only thing that stopped me from growing it before this year was the fact that you can only get one crop out of it. When I was talking to a friend of mine who grows veggies, she said if you just take the leaves out and not disturb the roots, they come out again. I am trying that this year. I snipped the leaves of this leaving stem and the root intact. Let's see what happens. I will update this post when there is new growth.
On the other hand, my egg plant is suffering because of beetles (I believe they are japanese beetles). Any idea how to get rid of them naturally?
