On another new trial to my cake decorating, I did make the below cake for my friend's daughter's birthday. It is coconut cardamom pistachio cake with chocolate cream cheese mixed with coconut filling and cream cheese icing.
Cake itself is a 10" square cake frosted with cream cheese frosting. The letters are cut out from homemade fondant. Elmo's face is fondant mixed with gum paste cut out. I have piped the outline with black icing.
