Black & White Wednesday - Maratha Moggu/Capers

    Champa, they remind me of dried cloves. It's a very pretty scoopful collected in a hand. A fine composition. I've seen some very unusual spices lately in one of my Indian markets. They were small, thin pale dry pinecones no bigger than my pinky finger. There's so much I don't know yet.
